Sea Days, and lots of them
Finding our sea day grove and finding time to relax
07.06.2023 - 12.06.2023 29 °C
The first week of the round-the-world cruise has passed without us leaving the ship.
It has been a slow process of getting used to the sea day pace without the urgency we have previously experienced on shorter cruises. We know there will be more off-ship days when we do extended trips to the Taj Mahal, and Machu Picchu, and cruise through the Mediterranean and the UK. There will also be other long stretches of sea days at different times.
So we have been busy in different ways.
Kathy has been taking bridge lessons. So far no cards have been harmed or even touched but it is promised for future classes.
We have both been attending ukulele practice and learning how to look like you are still playing when you have completely lost the tune. Kathy has been more diligent in practising at this stage.
I have started taking shots with my 360-degree camera. It turns out that taking the shots is the easy bit and the editing is more time-consuming.
I have managed to post some 360-degree photos on Facebook. Still figuring out how to post them here.
For the videos, you have the full 360 to select from in the edit so it will be interesting moving forward.
Cocktail of the day.
Kathy has been busy posting a cocktail each day so that her colleagues can follow her attempt to drink a different cocktail every day of the cruise. Different bars have different menus and there are also special cocktails which some bar staff are making so hopes are high that this will be achieved!

Glad you've survived your first at sea week and the useless are still intact.
Looking forward to some bridge with Kathy on her return. Enjoy
