Finding our way around the Ship

While en route to Brisbane, there are visits to the pools, gym and more bars and Piney makes an appearance

First, a day at sea, to find our way around and finish unpacking.

Early morning on the deck.

Back to unpacking.

Kathy had her first beginner's bridge lesson and we both took our instruments to the Ukellele meet-and-greet.

More cocktails and observing the passengers. Much like a radio station with a mixture of 60s, 70s and 80s on board although there are rumours that one or two children have been spotted.

We stayed out late enough to see a NZ comic (Andre King) in the Universe Lounge.

Brisbane, the first port of call. We did not get off the ship this time. We have seen Brisbane before and the new cruise terminal is some way from the city with limited transport. Princess did lay on busses but on an overcast day staying onboard seemed the best option. The ship was quiet and some more exploring with not much in the way of activities running. There were many departing guests as the last of the passengers from the 35-day Hawaii round trip left the ship to be replaced by the world cruisers from Brisbane. Passengers start in either Auckland, Sydney or Brisbane for this cruise with most doing the full lap. There is some changeover at Dover with people doing the half tour either to or from the U.K.

Kathy and her friend visited the Gym while I tried out the thermal suite and the different steam rooms.

Then back to cocktails and dinner.
